Remedial / Deep tissue Massage Therapy
1 hour £60 1.5 hours £80 2 hours £100
The aim of any holistic therapy is to help relax the client. A 1 hour holistic full body massage uses long, effleurage techniques to help stimulate blood flow, with enough pressure to ease tension and help with the release of endorphins, aka the happy hormone.
For this massage, the client will start lying face down and covered on the table. The treatment starts with the back of the legs, then onto the back before asking the client to turn over, to then proceed with the front of the legs, feet, abdomen, arms, hands, neck and head. This massage can be done using different oils should you wish
Please note: not everyone is always comfortable having their abdomen or feet massaged. Please do let me know and I can always spend longer on a different area of your choice, and happily miss out any area you do not wish to be treated.
Sports massage treatments. £65 per hour
Deep tissue massage is often administered as a full body massage, rather than focusing on a specific area of the body. Sports massage, on the other hand, is a targeted massage approach that focuses on specific areas of the body that are in need of healing or relief. Especially good if want focus on one or two areas, with a firmer pressure, and you regularly train. Ideally a sports massage should be used within 48 hours of your training session. Please do get in touch to discuss your needs to find out if this is the right treatment for you.
Lymphatic Drainage Treatment
£60 per hour
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle technique, and is often described more as a treatment then a massage. The aim is to use light pressure and sweeping strokes to activate the lymphatic system into promoting healing, alleviating fluid retention and remove waste from the body systems to the lymph nodes.
How it works:
The lymphatic system is responsible for collecting excess fluid and waste from tissues and returning it to the bloodstream.
Lymphatic drainage massage aims to stimulate the lymphatic vessels, encouraging them to contract and move lymph fluid more efficiently.
This can help to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and promote detoxification.
